Agreed, and we also need libraries staffed by librarians. Comics are incredibly powerful for getting children to read.

Really hope that there’s going to be specific space carved out in this for comics, because we know the impacts they can have.

Unless we see funding for comics research, materials for teachers about using comics, money provided for comics advocacy, this momentum is not going to last.
