It has been an amazing experience to be President of @improvingpsych.org for the past year. There aren't many societies that would engage early career researchers in leadership, but SIPS is very special 🧡✨

My proudest achievement was pushing through the @pci-regreports.bsky.social funding partnership pilot (improvingpsych.org/2025/06/), as Registered Reports and PCI are two of the peer review innovations closest to my heart. I hope SIPS decides to continue this in future years! 🌟

SIPS really does focus on international diversity, and not just in a nominal way. So if you're in Asia or Africa, please consider this.

📢 New commentary out today in Nature Human Behaviour!
We argue that behavior change interventions often suffer from a one-sided success focus. But failures may reveal structural barriers people face.

Psychologists & related fields: what is a big methods question that you believe remains somewhat unanswered & that you'd love to see adressed? There may be an opportunity for a large-scale meta-science project with many teams trying to figure out a question.

Any thoughts welcome! #psychscisky

New working paper led by Jaspreet Singh: osf.io/preprints/ps...

Some of you may know about repliCATS, in which (mostly Global North) experts used structured peer review to judge judge the credibility of behavioral research.

We used the same method with behavioral scientists from around Nairobi
