How come encyclopedias never give casualty statistics for policies like Indian Removal or Jim Crow, but have entire sections for estimating casualties from genocides like Rwanda or Darfur? Shouldn't ethnic cleansing in the Soviet Union or United States be treated the same?

This is just the beginning of the unnecessary and tragic deaths resulting from the Trump regime’s dismantling of govt agencies and the firing of public servants who worked to inform the public and make us all safer.
After media reports & experts warned for months that drastic & sudden cuts at the Nat Weather Service by Trump could impair their forecasting ability & endanger lives during the storm season, TX officials blame an inaccurate forecast by NWS for the deadly results of the flood.

There have been numerous outbreaks in Amish communities that would controlled by vaccination like a measles outbreak in Ohio in 2014.

But even if every federal worker were fired, it wouldn’t make a dent in the massive deficit increase Trump is proposing. The total federal employee payroll amounts to $271 billion—nowhere near enough to offset the trillions being added to the debt. So what’s the purpose here?

In 1985 in Africa 25 vaxxed children were compared with 25 unvaxxed for 5 years.

In the vaxxed group one got mild measles while 4 had suspected whooping cough.

Among the unvaxxed 11 got measles leading to 2 deaths & an unvaxxed child died of tetanus.

This is why we don't do these studies anymore.
