I want to adopt a dog so bad but I go on petfinder and the adoption fees are often $400+. I've seen $550. I get that shelters have expenses and I get if you're poor poor maybe a pet is a bad idea, but like...are the days of $100 adoption fees (or free weekends!) gone?

Okay let’s work the problem: content-based speech restrictions like this are default unconstitutional unless the gov proves banning these ads is the least restrictive means of achieving a compelling state interest. Hard! And “ads” are now social media so… are you banning drug cos from tweeting?
I think it would make a big difference in our health if we banned Pharma ads from America like the rest of the world does.
