The sheer volume of time and energy being spent by thousands of university-based researchers in *every* field right now to figure out if their funding will exist next month or next year, if their careers can even continue… just citing dollar values doesn’t do it justice, it is full-scale upheaval.

In high prevalence areas voluntary adult male circumcision reduces the risk of acquiring HIV through sex by up to 60%. This has been proven in multiple clinical trials & implemented in East + South Africa as a strategy to reduce new HIV infections. It is not a scam.

Trump says 'male circumcision in Mozambique' is a 'scam.' What's the program about?
In his Tuesday address to Congress, President Trump listed U.S.-funded programs that he considers an "appalling waste" — including "$10 million for male circumcision in Mozambique."

NIH's proposal to cut the grants it pays for medical research will not just hurt elite coastal universities.

Who else has a lot at stake? The states of Missouri and North Carolina. The University of Texas Cancer Center. Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

If RFK wants to meaningfully decrease rates of depression, he can support paid family and maternity leave, equal pay for women, universal healthcare, and fully funded public schools.

Stigmatizing medication that treats the mental impact of a country that devalues your existence won’t cut it.
