In a recent publication in JAMA, we focused on the needs of Latino sexual and gender minorities as we continue to work towards the end of the HIV epidemic. We recommend engaging Latino SGM in all stages of implementation, developing and tracking performance metrics. jamanetwork.com/journals/jam...

If you have an accent or speak more than one language, that's a superpower! Embrace it. If anyone makes fun of it or sees you as "less than" because of it; please ignore them. The world needs more people like you.

Last week, I attended the National Latinx Conference on #HIV #NaLA25 for the first time. It was an excellent opportunity to learn from those on the frontline providing HIV services to Latinx communities. I enjoyed meeting with new and established colleagues. We need collaborations more than ever!

Black mothers died at 3.5 times the rate of their white counterparts. This is a racial disparity. We must continue studying how racism affects health and end the root causes of these disparities. This is not ideological; it is based on evidence.
