In 2024 only 13 out 19125 NRM applications were deemed to have been made in bad faith. It's disgraceful that UK Labour are continuing the Conservatives false narrative on pervasive abuse of modern slavery protections.

The reporting on Charlie Kirk’s killer in the UK & US highlights again how fundamentally ill equipped mainstream media is to report on political violence in the digital age.

They do not know anything about online far right meme culture & it’s starting to do real harm. #r4today

With UK news shows reporting more than 50,000 small boat migrants have crossed the English Channel since Labour came to power now would be a good time to remind Nigel Farage & others that Brexit has been a primary factor in the sky rocketing number of small boat crossings

I prosecute and defend the most serious sexual offences in our courts.

The overwhelming majority of offenders are British-born. Overwhelmingly the victim is someone known to them, either a partner or relative.

Anybody purporting to care about protecting women might start there.

One really tricky issue with ethnicity data relating to suspects - as opposed to defendants -is that it's based on child victims' perceptions of someone they may not know very well or even at all. That lends itself to a crude 4-fold typology, rooted in British colonialism and remade in police data

I had a productive call with Ursula von der Leyen this morning. We’re ready to build on our free trade relationship, bolster economic security, and work side-by-side on shared defence and security challenges.

WELKER: Your secretary of state says everyone who's here, citizens and non-citizens, deserve due process. Do you agree?

TRUMP: I don't know. I'm not a lawyer. I don't know.

WELKER: Don't you need to uphold the Constitution?

With a week to go before the election, both major parties have now released their plans to address domestic, family & sexual violence.

Hayley Boxa & I examine both announcements & ask do they truly reflect the scale of the national crisis we are facing?
