Guys, every person you see on Fox News in a mask is just Robert O'Neill, retired Navy Seal and occasional Fox News contributor. He's the former Antifa, former Gazan, former gang member. His eyes are very unique.

And... we're off! My first stop on the SSDS book tour was tonight and will be tough to top! Westport Library is an amazing venue, couldn't ask for a better moderator than Sharon Suchotliff, and huge thanks to Jennifer Keller and co for making it happen!

Matthew 15:29-31: And great crowds came to him, bringing with them the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute, and many others, and they put them at his feet, and he healed them after verifying their citizenship status.

If you hate the Pope because he is too “liberal”, I have some very bad news for you about Jesus.

The Secretary of Defense (also played rolls like drunk, domestic abuser, adulterer, weekend tv host) called all military leaders into one place to tell them to not be fat.

The thing regular people don’t often grasp about ‘academic freedom’ is that if you don’t allow experts to research & teach in their fields of expertise, guided by their professional judgment & decades of training, you have effectively given up on the concept of knowledge & shut down your university

Universities are moving rapidly to comply with laws that don't exist.

“I’m emotionally shellshocked right now,” said one professor in the Texas Tech system. “What does it say about academic freedom? It says we don’t have it.” The professor spoke by phone from the inside of a car to avoid being overheard by colleagues.

Sometimes I think about all the novels I judged in years past as ham-fisted, lazy writing because they had some cartoonish billionaire character prone to constantly confessing their most sociopathic and diabolical plans for humanity

oops my bad

Listen, everyone is going to put their heads down on their desks and close their eyes, and whoever broke this timeline can fix it, no questions asked.

I miss my 50-year streak of not knowing who the Secretary of Health is or anything about them.

It's weird how Tylenol caused autism (first diagnosed in 1943) before it was even invented (1955). What a clever drug.

Medical mystery solved.

Drum roll…

It’s the women. The pregnant ones with headaches & fever who reach for Tylenol. Grateful to President bone spurs for the sound advice to ignore the pain. Thank you to our scientific minded secretary of health for unearthing the gross error of medicine & data.

This book by @madva.bsky.social, @dryan149.bsky.social and @michaelbrownstein.bsky.social magically appeases both my worried, Skeptical Academic Self, and my much more hopeful and admittedly atrophied Organizer Self. Go buy it!

Everything is bad, but books are good. Get a book. Read the book. Cherish the book. Finish the book. Tell your friends about the book, and leave a review of the book. Hold the book close. Listen to what it tells you. Do as it commands. Place it on the dread altar and let it guide your every choice.

We all know ‘tragedy’ comes from Greek.

‘tragos’ = goat

‘aeidein’ = to sing

So ‘tragedy’ originally meant “goat song.”

Not to be confused with the GOAT song, which is probably “Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman.

Just thinking about how the right made up an entirely fictional left wing character that resulted in so many bomb threats and the like and nobody will face consequences. But people on the left who accurately clocked the victim’s life work lost jobs.
