The short version is that ACOTAR 1 was a little slow for me but the subsequent books picked up and I enjoyed the series more. It’s spicy fantasy 🔥 🌶️ 💫✨

The Girl From Greenwich Street by Lauren Willig. It’s historical fiction about the first murder trial in the US. Willig conducted two years of research (masters in history, also a lawyer) before writing it. Enjoying it a lot!

Here’s what captured my attention about the book: “It specifically examines the South Dakota Rural Attorney Recruitment Program, which is the first program of its kind in the US and has seen great success in helping to attract new lawyers to small towns.”
