Despite the school's marketing as an innovative, tailored alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar publics, teachers' instruction rarely reflected this.

In light of the dismantling of the Dept of Ed, here's an initial analysis on federal grants and a number of teacher preparation programs across the US. Quick takeaway: federal grants help to dramatically expand and diversify the teacher workforce.

My last 3 manuscript submissions at one prominent journal:
1. not reviewed for nearly a year. after multiple emails, they asked for suggested reviewers. got 5 in depth reviewers. after revisions, only 1 seemingly reviewed again and after 6 months, editors decisioned reject from that 1 review
