Interoperability between federal datasets is likely to be one of the long term impacts of the Trump administration. Most of these databases were designed not to easily share information with other systems/agencies.

To those lamenting seeing activists fight over what often appears to be trivial bullshit: if it makes you feel any better, this is absolutely nothing NEW, and it doesn’t appear to be an impediment to success in and of itself.
