After a run of three bad things happening this week (split tap connector Tues, bottom fell out of a bottle and tyre puncture yesterday) - I've been dropped on by a bird while out running this morning.

Train crimes aplenty today - and, boy have they come in many forms:
-Talking to phones instead of holding to ear,
-Slow-walking on tube while messaging or reading,
-Falling asleep on my shoulder (albeit understandable in heat)
-Asleep traveller arm hair tickling my own
The rage is relentless.

This has been cordoned off for a while, outside Enfield Civic Centre, probably while it dried - but great to see it in all its glory and in use today!

Just over 6 hours and finally pulling into Liverpool Lime Street for some of the parade! Spent quite a while in Crewe - as nice as I'm sure it is there - it's not where we wanted to be!! #YNWA

I've moved - thank you people of Leighton Buzzard getting off at your stop. It wasn't good. Almost like an old hospital ward when estates can't turn the heating off in a heatwave. IYKYK, as they say

On a train out of London and the heating is on in the first carriage >22°C outside and probably more in the first carriage.
Advice is to move carriages (heating is set at depot first thing) - it's amazing how many of us value a seat more over air con. Some kind of weird social experiment maybe!

Back to work tomorrow for the first time since 27 Dec.
Really needed that time off, despite it being a busy period it's been lovely to be around loved ones so much.
And there's still an opportunity to have WFH mince pies for breakfast, choc and orange panettone for lunch and picky bits for dinner.

Really lovely afternoon out with Funsize 2 at our local Country Park this afternoon. A walk and a jog alongside the cyclist - simple pleasures and my absolute favourite cold, sunny and blue sky conditions.
