I'm a real sucker for isekai and fantasy. There are like at least 4 shows this season with "hero" in the name, and a few with reincarnation lol. Doesn't bother me at all. I like them each time.

What is the new turbocharged obsession with localization? Like in Banished Court Magician, my ears, that I trust, hear the bad guy say his thing is "Blood Magic" (using English words) and one of the protagonists repeats "Blood Magic" and yet the translation is "burning blood".

Demon Lord Retry! took like a 3 year break on English releases (think the Japanese original was off for 2 years) and so new volumes came out this year and I have no idea what was happening in the story. I fed AI volume 7 and did not recognize much of what it summarized. Gonna have to start over 😵

Volume 11 of Unlimited Gacha was sooo good! Every volume has been excellent, where I'm looking down at the percent complete number and feeling sad as it creeps to 100 lol like "noooo I don't want it to end!"

I've been on a butter chicken kick. It's easily my current favorite dish. Takes a bit of work and planning (marinating chicken, soaking cashews overnight to make the cashew cream). I enjoy cooking. I also have a recipe for sourdough naan which uses my discard so I make that every few days lol.
