Purdue alum. I hate Notre Dame and IU sucks too (but I don't need to yell it in stadiums).
The busier he stays the safer everyone else’s credit cards are.
Busy day for Doug

Maybe you’re looking in the wrong places.

Less than 12 hours ago two of the top 20 teams met (not even at a neutral site) with no transfers involved and it was a great game for 34 minutes.
The annual Transfer Portal Bidding War has really impacted the quality of November basketball. Teams having to establish a new identity each season is just going to make it harder to keep fans engaged and coming to games.

Marquette's Shaka Smart after tonight's win over Purdue: "Great team win. So much respect for Purdue. I would say, other than UConn, in college basketball right now, they have the best program."

Ryan Walters bought a transfer reactor with NIL money but lost the key so hasn’t been able to use it all fall.
Probably cause they’re on top of these Power Rankings.

Purdue stands alone!

Oh wait the bottom left is bad.

Semi-interestingly, Purdue’s game at Marquette tonight is exactly where they’d be playing in March if this projection were to hold.

I think this actually explains what’s wrong with Purdue football. Traveling more than 25 (or 10) yards is just highly disruptive to these dudes and leaves them at a competitive disadvantage.
what if constant coast to coast travel is in fact highly disruptive to college athletes, even with charter flights, leaving them at a competitive disadvantage?

Don’t is not the opposite of due. You’re thinking of “do”. They sound the same but are actually different words. It’s called a homophone.

Joke would definitely go over great in elementary schools all around though.

How is that not a horse collar tackle?

Feel bad for the CBS production guy that had to find Purdue clips to put in that intro video. Good job though.
November 16, 2024 at 8:38 PM
“I feel bad for Ryan Walters…” -cbs studio dude, who then goes on to list a bunch of reasons why, most of which were at least partially Ryan Walters’s fault.
November 16, 2024 at 8:35 PM
Well, time for another fun day of the Ryan Walters experience. Can’t wait to see what kind of “cerebral” nonsense he’s cooked up this week.

Me, a Purdue fan, seeing the words “leadership change” in regards to a football program.

I lean Purdue slightly tonight versus Alabama, which is contrary to Vegas who has Alabama favored.

Bama is the better team, but being in Mackey makes a big difference, and my model thinks the Chris Youngblood injury is a bigger deal than the Jacobsen one for Purdue.

Anyone else get curious and look it up, then find themselves surprised Purdue has managed 11 passing touchdowns this year?

Four against Indiana state and three against Illinois make up the majority.
We had some fun with the Ashton Jeanty stats this year so far. Boise State plays San Jose State this week so let’s change it up.

Teams with fewer total team TD Receptions than @SanJoseStateFB’s Wide Receiver Nick Nash.

Some real “To Tell the Truth” vibes here. Used to watch old reruns of that on Game Show Network all the time as a kid.
FYI - This is my real account.

The other one is fake.

Not only is Hunter DickInSon still in college, he’s only in his fifth year. Would’ve guessed he was a Cam McCormick 8th-year type of dude by now at least.
This season is an all-timer for “he’s still in college????”

This is the peak. We will never have so many guys like this again.

(Until the courts force the NCAA to remove eligibility limits.)
