The dog was with for 15 1/2 years, she came to us at 11 months old because her previous owners decided that they just didn’t like her anymore. They have no idea what they missed out on by giving her up. She was loving, sassy, spicy and sweet and very goofy at times. I will miss her so much.

So many thoughts today about the state of the country right now. So many reasons to be depressed and angry and disillusioned about the current situation and the future. The one thing that REALLY pissed me off though is the stupidest thing. The name calling on both sides of the political divide.

This is the way. I had trouble with my Medicare account, tried working it out myself with endless form fills and calls (all very nice people btw) but it wasn't until I contacted my Rep and two Senators that it finally got cleared up. Thank you @cantwell.senate.gov

I think that today would be a good day to “flood the zone” of social media with photos, music, art & stories. Not that keeping up with current events isn’t crucial, but as reminders of hope, beauty & what we are fighting for.

When we took our mini vacation to Theodore Roosevelt National Park this summer, the ranger at the gate volunteered her favorite spots in the park for sunrise and sunset. I don’t know is she saw my photography equipment, or whether she gives that info to everyone who comes through.

One of the neighbors leaves their dogs outside 24/7. And they barked every single minute of every day. They apparently had a visit from the local police department so the dogs haven’t barked for a whole day. My anxiety doesn’t know how to react. It’s weirdly peaceful.
