They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

Notre Dame had a couple of key injuries tonight to their OL and DL.
This is why the first round bye is nice. And also why the first round bye seeding needs to be redone next year.

indiana did not beat anyone. it's true! alabama should not have lost to vanderbilt and 6-6 oklahoma. ole miss should not have lost to 4-8 kentucky.
there is one SEC team with even a plausible beef here and it is south carolina, which matched indiana in not losing to scrub teams. that's enough

Notre Dame rushed for 131 yards in the first quarter on the No. 1 run defense in the nation. Charlotte was the only opponent to run for more than that on Indiana in the entire game, and the 49ers only went for 137 on IU and they did it on 33 carries. The Irish are averaging 16.4 yards per carry.

Notre Dame's at 3.5 yards per rush outside the 98-yard run.
Indiana should not have given up the 98-yard run, imo.

Yes, yes, everyone has done the "you know, 'You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch' is the first diss track" thing, but what we don't discuss is how it's also in the top 3 in that category.

A modest proposal: 1st round CFP should be been last weekend. Quarters should be this weekend, also home games. Semis and Natty on the same bowl rotation as the 4-team "playoff." Remaining bowls can take the quarterfinal losers.

I posted this same thing on Facebook earlier. Compact the playoff into December and play the title game at the Rose Bowl on New Years. Enough of these sterile NFL stadiums. The vibes are wack.
One play in & I can say w/100% certainty: every freakin' @CFBPlayoff game should be played on campus - except for the national title game (hold it at Rose Bowl) #CFBPlayoff

Indiana's schedule was given the two teams that played for the national championship. Both turned out to be meh.
When you create giant conferences, you cannot avoid very uneven schedules. Same goes for Texas in the SEC. This is college football now.
Blame realignment.
