POV: you're a social media manager at a family gathering

relative: so you just like... scroll all day?

me: has flashbacks of algorithm changes, crisis management, and content approvals

me: yeah basically lol

Interesting indeed! Guess the most focused platforms strategy wise is Youtube & Facebook
November 24, 2025 at 1:18 AM
Yup! Also if you get customers to take pictures with their reviews the image meta data shows it was taken at your location
What actually matters: How people interact with your profile AFTER they find it. Are they calling? Getting directions? Saving your business? These behavioral signals tell Google who's genuinely prominent vs. just technically optimized.

Did you know we help local businesses to be found by people in your area looking for services you provide?

Well isn’t that interesting
Mets really is evil

“Meta projected that it would earn about 10% of..annual revenue in 2024 from running advertising for scams..The documents..show that the social-media giant failed for at least 3 years to identify & stop ads that were shown to billions of people”
www.abc.net.au/news/2025-11...
Meta forecast $24b revenue from scam ads, internal documents show
Users of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are exposed to fraudulent e-commerce and investment schemes, illegal online casinos, and the sale of banned medical products.

Indeed #cosign
Evergreen content is an upfront investment that pays traffic and authority dividends for years.

Does this actually surprise you?
As someone who works on social media and community management, you kinda learn to ignore mean comments online, but man...we just got the most "I'm a white guy with an opinion" comment of all time today.

It is hard for it to not ruin my day just from the sheer ignorance.

For all those confused about how to get referenced in LLM AI platforms search - type in your query and see who is cited - it shows the used sources - build on those sources :)

😂😂😂 the ones where you click and 36 hours later you still receive are pretty annoying
I love all these online store unsubscribe pages that say "Oh hey, did you mean to do that?" My guy, I had to scroll down twelve pages of your unsolicited marketing email and repeatedly click on your tiny print unsub link. Yes, I truly meant that.
November 2, 2025 at 6:17 AM
Aww ☺️ - do not let fear stop output. Nothing is perfect. It will be fine
I just received the “Off we go to print!” email from my editor, and I’m having a mini anxiety attack. My entire life has been me not being proud of something I’ve done - only worried about what comes next. And what’s next is the marketing and publicity roadmap. Instead of excitement, I feel dread. 😬

disappointed to see today's peacock marketing email claiming to be the home of the amityville series of films. they don't even have amityville vibrator on there
November 2, 2025 at 6:14 AM
Also any doubt copy the text and or link from the email and dump it into #chatgpt and ask to check validity - it will catch stuff your eye sometimes won’t
I got this #illustration job email, which I think is a scam. Here's why:

1) The header says it is from LinkedIn but it is sent to my email from the sender, who is using a Gmail address

2) The payment is supposedly in crypto (due to internal financial circumstances???)

These Acronyms are getting out of hand! It is interesting as all of these stem from the trust that is built from core SEO actions with a few minor adjustments of focus
Do you think these all mean the same thing?

AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
SGE (Search Generative Experiences)
AISEO (Artificial Intelligence Search Engine Optimization)
AIO (AI Optimization)
LLMO (Large Language Model Optimization)

It amazes us how many businesses have so little visibility digitally. They set up their GBP, FB page and Instagram and maybe 2-5 other listing sites. Also the number that do not have a fully set up GBP….no images, missing basic information.
If your competitors rank above you, it’s not because they’re better—it’s because they’re visible. Change that with the Local SEO Blueprint.
