I spent all summer trying to get within 100ft of the egret that perched by the weir. Every time it noticed me (or any other human) across the water, it would fly away.
Anyway, here's the egret I found in a beck right next to the Aldi.

Caught this lil girlie after she ran into a shop from the Coop car park (the box was a very quick measure). She's fine and not underweight so we released her into the field around the corner.

I can't lie, I'm not coping well with Henry's sarcoma diagnosis. Despite being half bald, fitted with a drain, and forced to wear a leotard, Henry is still very happy and active. He's not active in this picture, though, because he loves baking himself in front of the fire.

He went for his operation, but the vet didn't feel comfortable removing his lump due to high risks. He's now mostly bald, in a babygrow, and off his face on methadone.

The lumpy man will be lumpy no-more this time tomorrow. He's not going to like not having breakfast tomorrow, or being bald.
