Pro tip: You can get a fare refund on *most* train trips that are delayed 15 minutes or more. Not just these extreme cases.

Conveniently excluded are delays due to extreme weather conditions b/c switches are so unreliable when it gets slightly too hot or cold 🙄

I dunno what people were doing last night, but my commute home involved getting to Union, waiting 5 minutes for my train's track to be announced, and using an unused stairway (literally) to get a seat on a full but not overcrowded train car.

Mississauga plows sidewalks AND clears windrows. I mean, it IS still Mississauga, but at least we have that.
The city should absolutely be in charge of clearing sidewalks.
When the city stopped plowing sidewalks in Winnipeg I swear it was touted as a temporary budget measure. That was about 30 years ago.

This is a great idea and would also allow FIFA to return to its original focus, awarding peace prizes.
It might sound silly, but I mean it: The easiest and most potent way for Europe to hurt Trump this year is to once again use its cultural soft power and to threaten a boycott of the World Cup. It would become a completely meaningless event and would hurt him where he is most vulnerable - his vanity.

@briantylercohen.bsky.social Why do you do this? Because the algorithm tells you too? Why not put the attribution link in the original post and use your influence to help boost the source.

You do valuable work, but tactics like this and being a slave to the algorithm is a bad look.

#Ontario’s newly privatized recycling does not integrate with the regional website everyone uses to check their collection schedule. There’s now a separate website to check for that.

I guarantee my in-laws aren’t the only ones confused and thinking their recycling isn’t getting picked up tomorrow.
