Partisanship bothers me quite a bit, in its extreme form it's a threat to stable governance. If I didn't value the Freedom of Association provisions of the Charter so much, I'd want political parties to be banned.

Mmhmm. I'm skeptical when I hear that argument from them, since it means accepting and supporting the widespread redistribution of wealth. None of them have given much of a sign that they're willing to become boosters for socialism.

What exactly do large corporations think will happen when "AI" and automation displaces enough jobs that their customers can't afford to pay for their services? Consumer consumption is a pretty important part of the economy as a whole. Wages plateaued at subsistence levels isn't good for profit.

Familiar playbook. Netanyahu has been prolonging conflict and military occupation in Gaza, while manufacturing crisis, to avoid his criminal trial for corruption. It's worked for him, why wouldn't Trump copy his playbook?

I particularly admire the work being done at FORCE, and the commercialization efforts at places like Jupiter Hydro and Eauclaire. Great examples of innovation in the Maritimes.

I'm fortunate enough to live in the Toronto-Windsor corridor where the Via is a viable transportation option for short haul. And I actively choose it over air or driving. But the booking and exclusions has started to feel airline-ish. Extra $25 for a bag bigger than a carry-on.

Given that Larry piled in for his acquisition of Twitter, I suspect you're right. Elon would owe him for that, I'd reckon.

Open sans is where it's at. Clean, unobtrusive, legible, why the fuck am I talking about fonts?

The professional bodies (Colleges) at the provincial level are a part of the problem. They often lack incentives to harmonize with counterparts, because it means giving up control for the greater good (which lessens power and influence). This dynamic plays out with interprovincial trade barriers too
