November was a meaningful month at Buffer! 💙

We celebrated our 15th birthday and are closing 2025 as our strongest year in the past seven. After a long stretch of rebuilding, that combination matters.

🚨 Alberta’s Two-Tier Healthcare plan is a threat to all Canadians from coast to coast to coast. While the rich get a fast lane to care, your costs and wait times are set to increase dramatically.

Tell Ottawa to act now and stop it. Sign the petition and send a letter: NoTwoTier.ca/CanadaHealthAct
URGENT: Stop Two Tier Care. Prime Minister Mark Carney Must Act Now.
We have to defend and promote Universal Public Healthcare before it's too late.

AI-generated “synthetic respondents” can now pass the vast majority of fraud, attention, logic, and CAPTCHA checks used in opt-in online survey-based polling.

They can do this cheaply and at scale.

Often without being detected.

Sir Sandford Fleming is a Great Canadian Builder

Every time you check the time, you can thank Fleming for creating Standard Time. Before, every town kept its own local time. As the chief engineer of the Canadian Pacific Railway, it was impossible to keep systems on time. So he invented time zones.

Hey Bluesky friends, I'm working on a project this month to deconstruct hiring practices and write about solutions. If you come across an audaciously bad job posting (or a really good one), can you send me the link? Thanks =) #jobsearch #hiring #hr

Foster a cat, they said.

(Ok, we did)

It'll be great, they said.

(She IS very sweet and is adapting marvelously)

She's not fixed, but she's ten. And it's December. She won't go into heat, they said.

(Cat performs operetta toward a plant at the top of her lungs until 3am).
