I had to turn off the new Stranger Things episode after 16 minutes. I was embarrassed to still be watching the show up until this point, but this new one feels like a bridge too far.

Coincidentally, I just finished the Silent Hill 2 remake on PS5 yesterday. My first time playing anything in the series. Incredible game. Zero chance that it makes for a good movie, though.

5th grade me thought this was the greatest album of all time. Being a vocal supporter of the band was not a boon for my social life, as piano rock was decidedly uncool with elementary school kids.

I never really found my footing with Silver Jews catalog, if I’m being honest, but this album had me from the opening line. An absolute classic.
The great David Berman passed away on this day six years ago. I wrote this about him in 2024.
