This is brilliant. They don't need risk management or a corporate counsel either. They're dead weight, Bari, just get rid of them.

This is fine.
Because once the Machine God is born in an OpenAI data center built on the back of taxpayer subsidies, all of the money burn will have been worth it and the blessed profits will flow (along with our salvation).

It just seems so obvious from the outside that there aren't enough eyeballs in the space an inch to the left of Fox that CBS, CNN, NewsNation, and others want to pile into.
It all points to the news operation of CBS just being a loss-leader product for Paramount. Who'll be watching though?

This roster also arguably has less talent than Orlando.
It's not a bad sign to struggle against Eastern Conference playoff teams on the road.

11) The discussion about health care was useful PR, but covered up discussion over the power of the purse, which is fundamental. If the WH doesn't have to follow the law, it doesn't matter what you pass.
With the remaining approps bills + CR, Dems still could fight that fight. If they're smart

What Burry doesn't understand is that when the Machine God awakens in an Oracle server somewhere in the Snake River Valley, a new age will be at hand and we won't have to worry about depreciation anymore.

I think what is overlooked here is that Carolla may feel forced to "work", in a Rob Schneider sense, to replace some of his lost wealth.
Can everyone here agree in advance to not repost whatever roadkill he comes up with?

Jokes on them, every bluesky user is 38 or older and has an advanced degree.
So this will work only 2-3% of the time.

Could be wrong but I think this one might be discharge petition-able though?
Lots of vulnerable Rs want to show something on this issue.
If they do nothing, I think Johnson et al. have concluded their majority is toast in 2026 anyway, so they'll play Hobbits on a quest to kill Obamacare.

I'll say it is impressive they were able to get the doors on the vehicle to open up and let them exit.

They found the one issue they all 100% agree on.
None of them want the DOJ to be able to look at their phones, even though they all know Johnson and a few others were full-on participants in the coup attempt.

I don't know much, but I am supremely confident that Alec Guinness would have grabbed this person by the shoulders and told him to get a grip about movies that aren't intended for adults.

Every week people are willingly giving in-depth interviews to the New York Times for behavior you should have to be waterboarded for 18 hours before confessing.

I think around a quarter of Dem Reps agree with the Sen defectors given where things are at.
Whipping that many would be very hard, and it would risk drawing blame for holiday air travel disruption if the deal collapses.

Occam's razor I think nearly always points to lying in contexts like this.
The Rube Goldberg mechanics of this particular person assimilating the requisite information and then believing what he is saying stretch plausibility.

It is of course possible that we'll look back and decide that would have been preferable, but the cost would have been very high.
There is a strong chance there will be another shutdown in January, so everyone will have another chance to argue for their pet theory.

The very long shutdown that might have earned more concessions from the GOP would have involved the total collapse of commercial air travel, no SNAP for multiple months, and federal employees going for 3 or more months without a paycheck.
Not many users of this app ever processed the implications.
