Good morning #MetsSky. We're frozen in place. Snow fell, rain froze on everything, then temp dropped. Landscaping crew's here to remove it all. I hope that their done by noon tomorrow so I can head out for the biopsies. They have 326 homes to clear. I don't envy them. Hope y'all are safe & warm.

Good morning #MetsSky. Up since 3:30 am, watching a storm chaser in Ohio on YouTube. I thought to myself "How many other nuts are up watching something like this?". I looked and saw that there were over 7,000 doing the same thing. Still have power, but prepped to bail if needed. Stay safe everyone!

WHEW! Had option for the biopsy on Monday or Tuesday. Glad I chose Tuesday! Right now,everything around here is being cancelled Monday due to the pending storm. Everyone so often, I guess right! I have all supplies needed for post-care & a charging station at bedside for my phone. OK I'm ready!

Just shut up, Charley. Just zip the lip, hold the tongue, seal the lips, save your words. You've got the ability to summon up all the restraint you need, so just keep it together & shut the hell up. There's willpower in that aging body somewhere. Find it & use it. You'll be much happier in the end.

Good morning #MetsSky. Nice having Tucker conversation. Now let's actually sign Tucker, knowing at some point these contracts being signed are just not sustainable. I was at work the night Catfish Hunter was signed as a free agent for $3 Mil+ over 5 yrs. & thought WOW how's that going to happen?

Good morning #MetsSky. Had epiphany overnight. For years, we've complained about young players never getting chance to show stuff & traded away only to prosper on other teams. Could it be that #Mets finally getting serious about giving our young kids a chance to play this year? "Baby Mets takeover"?

With about one quarter of the vote in, David Wright has votes from about 19% of those voting. This is an increase over the last year. Chase Utley (known primarily for breaking Ruben Tejada's leg) has 65%. How is this disparity possible? Does character count? Player integrity? Team USA Captain?

Not my favorite, but most memorable. "Leave It" by Yes. When it came on, my young sons, 3 and 4 at the time, would run to the couch, flip upside down with their heads on the seat and bodies against the back of the couch to watch the video.

Farewell & rest in peace MTV. From that first rocket launch & Buggles video, you provided solid entertainment to music lovers of all kinds. Your converting to 100% reality shows is a very sad commentary on our culture. Fortunately, YouTube continues to have music videos available for everyone.

Overall ranking is 3rd in NL behind LAs & Braves. Mets at 43.4 narrowly edges Phillies (43.1) for 2nd in NL East. Better work on pitching!
