artists are truly the most indomitable people on the planet, all this yelling from all sides intended to devalue them and make it seem like culture can be discarded for industry, but they have that instinctual fire burning in them that says "I'm drawing this fat ass of my own ability. I am alive."

I made some mixed media studio ghibli thingies for two of my friends for Christmas.

I’ve never made anything like this before and it was lots of fun.

The kodama and soot sprites were purchased. Can’t really bake my own clay with an asthmatic cat.

Forgot to say that Silent Night Deadly Night was awesome. There was a scene where Santa murdered a bunch of Nazis with an axe. 10/10

However, it’s really more of an ‘inspired by’ type of movie then an actual remake…

I was a bit disappointed at first but frankly, it was still a fun movie
