Obwohl Merz rhetorisch sehr gewandt ist, hat er es mit dem „richtigen Ton“ nicht so sehr, Er hätte auch stattdessen sagen können zu den neuen Provinzen im Osten: „Wir sind Borg, Widerstand ist zwecklos“.
Was für ein Totalausfall, nicht nur gegenüber dem Osten sondern allen, die modernisieren wollen.
