DePaul University Research is conducting an online survey focused on PEM (Post-Exertional Malaise). Patients who experience PEM, as well as members of the general population, are invited to take part. The survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.

My ginger cat, Bob, came home. He'd been gone for 10 days. No sign of him. I was sure he'd been run over, attacked by a dog, smthg. And then...as per usual, he's screaming at me from the back garden wall.
I've never been happier to hear him screaming at me!

This is the attitude I grew up with, the generation of my parents. That's why it's so hard for me to accept my own chronic illness. Even after 13 yrs or so, I *still* fight my own ableism towards myself.

Pay attention to the way Trump & RFK Jr speak about people with autism and other disabilities.

They act like it’s a fate worse than death.

Like we’re an aberration that must be “corrected”.

Like disability is a failure that is not to be tolerated.

It’s not compassion, it’s eugenics.

Being able to retire.
Where I work, ppl can't wait for retirement. Me, I'm gonna have to work til I die.
