The "lesser of two evils" theory actually made sense to me for a long time. But it doesn't hold water if the lesser evil just keeps voting for the greater evil. What's the point of voting for a Democrat who does that?
I've never been a huge fan of the party I vote the most with, but I'm really starting to despise it in a way I never did before.

Don’t get me wrong: opposing injustice that happens to others should not require this mechanism to exist. We should oppose it because of a universal sense of morality.
