It's AMAZING. Visit between mid Oct and late April/early May. After that it gets insanely hot. But the lotus blooms are pretty. Trade off.

Our son is visiting during winter break between quarters. There was no way to get stationary changed in time. We spent $2200 on plane tickets for something that was included in the hiring agreement for all overseas employees here.

My husband is a civilian Marine employee in Okinawa. Dependent college-enrolled kids are *entitled* to 1 RT plane ticket/year. Requires advance authorization for travel orders. We filed & approval letter from his boss's boss went to Pentagon, who denied it because it wasn't on Dept of War stationary
