A book cover for A House Between Sea and Sky is central on a dark blue background. Arrows point from text blocks to the book, describing that it features the most anxious & lovable murder house you'll ever meet, that it's cozy fantasy with a literary feel, it is set in 1926 Carmel-by-the-Sea in California, and that it's a found family tale about a grieving woman, a secret-riven Hollywood star, & an abandoned witch's hut. Also, the novel includes book club discussion questions.

Glad to see that Tuyo # 10, HEDESA, picked up an all-star bonus from KDP -- always nice when that happens, and thanks to everyone who left a review, because that's one of the triggers!

Available for preorder: Tuyo Book 11: SEKARAN

Which is an odd book, let me add. There are through-lines, but I wouldn't exactly say there's a plot. I intended to write five short episodes for my newsletter; instead, 20 chapters and 140,000 words ...

SOMEONE has finally exhausted herself after hours of INFINITE VIOLENCE (not pictured: the HDMI cable and coffee table she has chewed through today)

Corgis are such god-awful little shits. I love her so much. She’s just the worst.

Some cool light rays over Grand Canyon Cape Royale…
Funny story about this shot is I ended there by total coincidence. Full story in ALT.

Divine light over the mesmerizing reliefs of Grand Canyon.
Story: back in 2019 I took a long roadtrip in Southwest US, mostly in Utah, in middle of summer. After a week, I was literally dying from the heat, so I followed the advice of a random guy I met on one of the spots I visited: going to GC to get some fresh air (higher altitude). But the thing is I had zero plans, no precise locations in mind… So when I arrived in GC I just went around shooting randomly. On that day, I was exploring a spot for sunset but quickly realized it wouldn’t be ideal for sunset light, so I was hesitant about what to do. That’s when I met a local and started to chat with him, then he proposed to take me to a spot that was ideal for sunset. I followed him and ended in that spot. It’s been one of the best shooting I had during the whole trip 😂. Crazy light, beautiful sunset, incredible location. Sometimes having no plan = good plan on the end.

OH YES! My papillon always went around every puddle. My Cavaliers splash right through puddles, the muddier the better.
