It's true. The Oxford comma, often said to eliminate ambiguity, can sometimes increase it. It’s not a panacea, and writers and editors shouldn’t treat it as one

This #InternationalTranslationDay, I submitted my translation of Schwedenbitter/Sharks by Simone Buchholz to @orendabooks.bsky.social so decided to celebrate with a cycle and coffee. Added enough miles to earn the most decadent cake on the menu! Found some conkers along the way too.

This is on a permissive path by a field, where the farmer has made it very clear what the rules are. I'm mildly scared of dogs so meeting one off lead when I'm running and it might chase me is not fun. Plus, do they want to be the jerk that gets access removed?!

I love being able to work at a time and pace that suits me, never having to do make-work tasks to fill the hours. I love flexibility to fit around family stuff or go for a bike ride because it's sunny. I hate pitching for work and worrying about AI.
