There is a humorous error message in Paper Mario: Color Splash. When loading Luigi, the game does a quick "bone check" to see if his position is defined. If he fails his bone check, the developer console prints out "Luigi is elegal!!", likely a misspelling of "Luigi is illegal".

It took nearly 30 years for the tng blowhards to admit that ds9 and voyager are good, imagine how much longer we're gonna have to wait for them to admit shows with black women and queer people are good
The reaction to that Starfleet Academy poster is adding more to my theory that Star Trek fans only really like one Star Trek show and they wish every other Star Trek show was like that one show.

God, I’m really upset how much hate I know Starfleet Academy is going to get. It’s Star Trek made for the CW-style crowd, which is PERFECTLY FINE. But because it’s not intended as mass audience aimed mainly at boomer dudes, it’s gonna face so much vitriol. Especially those kid actors. Angers me.
