Some men may downplay climate change risks to avoid appearing feminine
A new study finds that men who are anxious about their masculinity are less likely to care about climate change. They may view environmental concern as a feminine trait that threatens their image.

As I say here, this is not about saving the planet. The planet will be orbiting the sun long after we’re gone.

The question is, will there be a healthy, thriving human society on that planet? The answer to that question is very much up for grabs at this point.

Toronto City Council has gotten cold feet on a green policy for existing buildings that's been in the works for two years..

We have just a few days to turn things around.

Please send a message to bring this key climate policy back!
There's a big hole in Toronto's Climate Plan.

A policy that would tackle the biggest source of pollution and make our homes safer is at risk of being shelved this week 😨

We can prevent that from happening by speaking up right now!

I thought there’d be a revelation here, but nope it was just:

“Americans don’t use celsius, which has confused many of them into underestimating global heating.

So yes, let’s ALL shift to the mind-bending Fahrenheit calculus for the sake of 3% of the human population.

It’s not the intention with him, so much as the delivery.

I’ve never seen an EU leader with this kind of energy.
There’s a genre of TikTok comment, usually on American politics videos but also things like frosh weeks, that is “I’m too European for this. What is going on?” Here is is in column form

Small life update: I’m at the centre of a multimillion dollar lawsuit in Alberta launched by a failed candidate for Jason Kenney’s UCP

It may be the longest and most expensive media trial in Canadian history

I’m ready to go public about it and I want to share more details with you 🧵
