I rewatched The Sure Thing a few months ago (I was on an 80s movies kick over the summer). And it was so solidly done. It fit did the whole 80s teen comedy thing. But had real heart. Which is true of so many films directed by Rob Reiner. They had heart and soul, which says a lot about him.
