You're spraying the verbiage of beimg constructive over him the way he has people spray-paint tacky ornaments gold.

Neither make the thing so, but do tell us a lot about your own taste and values.

It does suck. 😞

I've always enjoyed procedural generation as an idea and have enjoyed watching its limits pushed by creative people to do neat things.

I can't imagine that being safely interesting again for a decade at the least.

And is more sanitary overall! It's a miracle machine and we should use it.

Those are so good, so much motion and expression

On the lights drive I was DJing Christmas music from my phone and happened to put Invisible from Klaus on right as we rounded the corner into this absolutely magical section that had white raindrop lights going all through the trees on both sides.

I mean, I already knew you were an ethical person. It's still nice to see this particular example these days. 😊

It is so far past time for basic computer files to automatically come with a robust tagging and sorting system for all file types.

Oh no! Sorry you got hit with rotten timing, but sincerely, so glad to see it anytime anyone is ethical about not spreading illness. That's radical kindness in this world rn.

It's a good time to get through one's backlog and look for ethical indies to keep afloat.

Just watched this with my family tonight, like we do every year now. Just a really good movie, and some of the most beautiful hand-drawn animation ever.

Yuuuup. I've been telling people, LLMs do NOT simulate intelligence. The simulate for the human user some degree of an approximation of interacting with an intelligence, and the human's own paradoilla is still doing 98% of the heavy lifting there.

Just bond with your Roomba, it's less harmful.

People really want to believe in sudden face turns, when what they need to be saying is, "Great, you've shown one (1) capacity for decency. Are you willing to get to the back of the line and haul shit for the folks who have been doing the work this whole time?"

If not, what good are they actually?
December 23, 2025 at 4:22 AM
Fundamentally, summarizing is a function of reading comprehension and LLMs neither read nor comprehend. They can echo words and phrases but they can't construct thought relationships between them.

Paradoilla and not knowing how to spot errors do the heavy lifting for LLMs "credibility."
December 21, 2025 at 3:15 PM
Every single AI "summary" I've ever seen has contained distinct errors and contradictions to the actual text. I have no idea what you're basing this claim and distinction on.

Being based on a shorter context doesn't fix the fundamental flaws of LLMs. It doesn't change what they are.
December 21, 2025 at 3:10 PM
Are they though? Every time I've seen an AI summary and checked it against the actual text, it turned out to be significantly wrong and off-base about the salient points.

They seem more likely to introduce misconception and bias before the reader has even started.

forget these fucking graphs, start asking people again about what they'd think happen to their lives if they missed two paychecks or if some medical emergency happened to them right now. i think it'd be pretty revealing about why people feel the way they do right now!

Yeah it's a great fanart lol

And only slightly less horrifying as "fun" rather than "hate."

Have a bee 🐝

Amazing Digital Circus, which heavilly draws from it yeah.

Softer and more candy-colored than its inspiration but still some really smartly-written existential horror that's fun for the whole family

Yeah. And like, part of it is reserving that sexual control/access for the sake of preserving their family line and status or w/e but . . . that's not a fundamentally separate thing just because they're not directly using them for sex personally.

You know, if.
