Arsenal have played 19 games so far this season in all competitions. They have won 16, drawn two & lost just one. They have kept 13 clean sheets, failed to score in only one game, netted 42 goals & conceded just seven. And all this despite having between three and seven players out simultaneously.

Watching yesterday’s preseason friendly back and I like what Vic Pelova brings to Arsenal in the 10.

Frida Maanum is perfect when Arsenal want to orchestrate a high press and crash the box, and Pelova works well when Arsenal need to suffer out of possession. Strong options.

Nighswonger deal key here, frees McCabe up to play right-back when needed. Renee likes full-backs that can invert into midfield when game plan requires and Wienroither just not quite in that mould.
