My great-aunt was named Sitty. I always thought that was an odd name. Turns out it's what her baby sister (my grandma) called her because she couldn't pronounce "sister." I have no idea what my great-aunt's actual name was, and neither did anyone else!

My mom was always making me outfits to match hers when I was little - it was a definite thing in the 80s! Now people think it's weird haha.

Maybe you can answer this for me: would any acrylic bulky yarn have a similar look and feel, or is there some other criteria I need to be looking for?

Or what I was thinking was seeing if I can find a similar weight yarn with a variety of colors and transitioning to that.

I would be extremely surprised if you did! I might see if I can like do a gradual fade from all 7 colors to the three I've got left. (I can still get that bright pink, light mint green, and the steel blue.)
