god i got so lucky w/ the last gamejam i did. completely forgot the golden rule of writing fantasy settings, which is "google any made-up words you use to make sure they don't already exist."
anyway turns out the magical island of the dead is actually a car model. kind of adds to it tbh

just found out chaosium ported The Haunting to 7th edition and made it free. hell yeah. would love to revisit it, eleven(!) years after i first ran it and with considerably more knowledge of the game
