PS: the modern Nigerian tale of crime and loss is Little Rot by Akwaeke Emezi. Very difficult read and not for everyone, but if you can handle the CWs it's incredible

We take books far too much for granted, honestly. The fact that we have access to the stories personally written by people around the world and across time is wild, and I don't think I'll ever understand not liking books. They're treasures
