Cooking casual Thai tonight for some of my father's friends 😻 On the menu is laab muu, yum neua, yum woon sen, and yum tua pluu (except not actually tua pluu, just some western flat bean, boo). It's great to have people to cook for to kick me out of my solo goblin-food routine 🎉 SO MANY HERBS!

I am trying to see if Ovid has a different poetic voice when speaking in the Ars (as an alpha male) vs in the Heroides (as a female). Spoiler: mostly not, but I love this finding - Ars / male is characterised by "credo" (I believe), Heroides / female by "video" (I see) 😂

this is my secret weapon for so many recipes. You just burn (literally) the whole skin slowly straight on a gas hob, then sweat it for 20 minutes in an inflated plastic bag. Skin comes off easily. From here just chop into paste.
