Very disappointed in The Atlantic for having a right wing dipshit complain about the Democratic Party.

I joined Law Dork this year because it’s important to pay attention to the people who are giving us the whole truth. If you’re not a member, join now. You’ll be smarter.
All of these stories of all of these firings are true — and everyone should share and tell their families and friends about every one — but I think everyone needs to understand that this is exactly what we have been reporting that they are doing as a systematic operation. These are not rogue actors.

The White House Press Secretary really needs to resign. She’s absolutely terrible.

Bravo, @anntelnaes.bsky.social.

I guess the new slogan for the Washington Post ought to be:

“Newspapers die in cowardice.”

Our only president who was a Naval Academy graduate was someone of true integrity, honesty, and kindness. I have three signed books by him, but this is my favorite signed by both Jimmy Carter and his beloved wife Rosalyn. Godspeed and open water to them both.

“The 39th president was, above all, a humane person who believed in humanity.”

My reflections tonight at Law Dork on the life of Jimmy Carter and the lessons he leaves us.
Jimmy Carter's life gives us a framework for living humanely in this moment
The 39th president died on Sunday, at 100, in his beloved home of Plains, Georgia. His life, legacy, and lessons live on. Also, for paid subscribers: Closing my tabs.

The Trump amicus brief in the TikTok case is wild, not the least of which is because it explicitly is premised on "I'll be president soon" and because the brief — full of puffery (at best) — is authored by his choice for solicitor general, D. John Sauer. www.supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/24...

Speaking of shut the fuck up Friday, I’ve been seeing some people say that the FBI has contacted them for questioning after seeing social media posts, and my extremely urgent advice is that you should under NO CIRCUMSTANCES talk to the Feds without a lawyer.

Happy Solstice to planet Earth and all its residents. For the next half year, daylight gets longer north of the Equator and shorter south of the Equator.

Confirming that yes, contrary to what many people think, days get **longer** in the Winter and **shorter** in the Summer.
