Hey remember the shooting in Minneapolis that happened between Renee Good and Alexi Pretti, the guy they claimed was shot by an agent after he had attacked that agent with a shovel? I can't stress enough that Obergefell was decided in 2015 and, while clawing that back is 100% a goal of the reactionary movement, the shift to full-time trans panic was a DIRECT result of "losing" the gay marriage war. The anti-trans movement is just a bunch of rats that found a new ship.
