What matters most is #community! I enjoyed hanging out w/ CM Nadeau this weekend to celebrate the new building extension of the Sitar Arts Center, joining neighbors at the 10th and Monroe Street Block Party and rallying with community leaders to make a stand against Trump’s DC occupation.

Today, I joined Councilmember @brianne Nadeau and elementary school administrators at one of our #WardOne neighborhood schools to clap our students back into the new school year.

We want to wish all of our students a happy first day of school and a successful year ahead!
