@mrjamesob.bsky.social my wife and I (>70 yrs NHS careers) wore a mask throughout covid and for 6 months or so after everyone else stopped wearing them. We continue to ALWAYS wear a mask on an aeroplane and from last week we wear one if we go on a bus. An Oz of prevention is worth a lb of cure

@mrjamesob.bsky.social we were actually in Sparta three days ago. They are (now) a lovely group of people, kind Leonidas included, but the anti Israel stickers all over the town are a telling comment on how many of them feel about Israel’s actions

@mrjamesob.bsky.social He hates ‘windmills’ or as we know them wind turbines because there are a load of them in the sea opposite his golf course and he threw a tantrum. He went to court in 2013 to have them removed citing that they would damage tourism in Scotland and he lost his case.

Reform are seeking (and gaining) funding from overseas using loopholes not yet closed by govt in respect of donations to a political party. I say political party but I doubt if any reform candidate would have the first idea about the facts related to immigration, the economy etc etc.
Right. It’s time to show those scumbags who Britain REALLY is.
Show them that we aren’t racist, aren’t stupid, we utterly despise his mate Trump and that we won’t be bootlickers for billionaires.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social the simple reason NHS England was set up was so that the Tories could blame ‘the NHS’ when their austerity prompted budget slashing took effect. I was 30+ yrs as a senior manager and was not allowed to meet Jeremy Hunt when he visited the Trust I worked in. 😂
