Dems are severely underestimating how pissed off people are. They think they have to be mealy-mouthed for “bipartisanship,” but when the other side is pro-military-style occupation of cities, civil rights violations, and people being beaten in the streets, you shouldn’t entertain its opinions.

It's a fucking lie. The "free speech crisis" was just a collection of duct-taped-together anecdotes plucked from obscurity by right-wing media. These people were never against "conformity" or "censorship," they just wanted to promote conservative ideas and crush liberal ones.
