Local News this lunchtime, BBC Points West, briefly covered the Westminster meeting from yesterday, Tessa Munt being a local MP to the area.

I haven't been in years, but the heat from the lights used to be incredibly intense, which was appreciated on a freezing November night.

Presumably just as bright now but with a little less heat maybe?

It's easier to blame someone else for your issues, and other isms are less acceptable, to most people.

I heard a lot of this debate w tears of relief, but I’M SO SICK & TIRED of this polite term ’the stigma’

The BPSM was a pervasive horror show that KILLED some people, and continues to threaten us all

We’ve lived through psychiatric persecution - weasel words are not enough.

By Leader, i mean of Labour Party, not PM.

When did McSweeney get involved?

Starmer will be case study in future of throwing away huge oppurtunity and goodwill in a completely unforced manner.

Before becoming Leader he seemed a lot less robotic, paralysed by inaction and farnkly clueless.

Probably me misunderstanding survivor bias...

But companies that survive are able to push their stories over the defunct ones.

Survivor bias.

Nintendo are still making consoles so they talk up their own history, and minimise others.

It's notable with companies in almost every field, their products are always made out to have been better than the rest when often they weren't. Or they supply things for TV shows set in past.

Flogging off the ROFs in the 1980s can probably be added to the list of privatisation failures.
November 18, 2025 at 11:42 AM
Seems insane that a single failure point system is allowed.

Clearly something isn't right that people can continue to drive while awaiting court cases (sometimes years) later, but then what if they're innocent?

Driving isn't taken nearly near seriously enough.
