@rparloff.bsky.social:Yeah. It's double hearsay stemming from a document written by somebody indicted for misconduct.

What’s interesting about the Oval Office fiasco is that it was Trump who repeatedly claimed during the campaign that he would end the war in ‘24 hours’ and that he was a master negotiator.

Did the guy sulking, then berating Zelensky, then kicking him out, look or sound like a master negotiator?

truth!
Half-baked thought I had this morning:

Arguably the two individual leaders who were best positioned to end Donald Trump's career failed to do so for opposite reasons.

Mitch McConnell's reason: Somebody else will get rid of Trump so I don't have to.

Joe Biden's reason: Only I can get rid of Trump.

so true!
If Mitch McConnell had voted to convict Donald Trump, he would not have to vote against confirming RFK Jr.

Here are the options on the table (which are not mutually exclusive):

1. House Dems bring articles of impeachment*

2. Senate Dems play constitutional hardball and obstruct everything

3. State AGs litigate (and prosecute) everything they can

4. Citizens march en mass

Inability to pass a standard background check to obtain a security clearance should automatically disqualify a nominee for any national security related position. And the media should ask every single senator to go on the record to confirm that they agree with this.
