So, the GLP v EHRC judgment won’t be handed down this year. It is taking longer than expected, does this mean the court moved into incompatibility territory?

well I was wise as always to avoid the camera…

True.

- @tressiemcphd.bsky.social with an absolute mic drop moment about AI bullshit.

Incredible words.

I think it’s rather creepy that the BBC also picked a stock photo of a young person on a hospital bed who looks like Keira Bell.

When those who hate trans people win - or pretend to win, cf Sandie Peggie - it's all over the media, even if it's just a tribunal decision. But when they lose, even in the Court of Appeal, it's absolute bloody tumbleweed. So here's our blog about Allison Bailey latest loss. goodlaw.social/3uyd
Allison Bailey loses her case against Stonewall – again
Court of Appeal finds that Stonewall did not cause discrimination against ‘gender critical’ barrister Allison Bailey.

My experience is that as soon as you start to tinker with an existing schema, the whole thing falls apart.

And then you assign a newly-hired senior engineer (or janitor) to do that, while the rest of the team works on those green fields to move fast, and so the janitor quits in two months.
It feels a bit of an irony that devs working at both companies get better results with AI tools when using it on their side projects - and teams that see the best result.

Devs at startups might not know it, but they have an advantage in these AI tools being more helpful to them

Scratch a transphobe, find a racist.
Another incredible case of white racial grievance about the academic job market.

He reveals at the end that he wouldn’t provide the necessary application materials!

I have a hunch the new graduate civil engineer we hired at our family business might be trans? Going to ask the management to treat them well. ☺️

Ashley’s 2025 freedom of information prize 🏆 goes to the Cabinet Office.

Apparently, the government is so confused that it doesn’t even know who deserves safety and dignity.

The long-awaited Levy Review is out.

This is tinkering around the edges of a failing system.

Until trans people can access our healthcare based on informed consent, from the same doctors in the same communities as everyone else, issues will remain unsolved.
