Universal Basic Income lets you leave a toxic job/partner, start a business, go back to school, care for a loved one, or simply take a breath without fear of financial ruin.

That’s real freedom! That’s #UBI

Never underestimate the power of wearing a mask. It’s a simple and safe act of compassion, resistance & self care

Sick of being sick? Wear a mask.

Want to keep a vulnerable loved one safe? Wear a mask.

Want to show solidarity with disabled people? Wear a mask.

Want to fight fascism? Wear a mask.

Idgaf I’m still fighting for guaranteed healthcare.

Aspiration is the answer. Not just “we’re not the bad guys.”

We need something more meaningful than that. I want a future worth fighting for. They have no vision. We do. Lean into our strengths and knock them out. 👊🏽

A grim but essential memory: 80 years ago today Auschwitz was liberated. That there was an Auschwitz to liberate is unspeakably tragic. . .

I'm still a bit up in the air about posting my art here. I really want to keep this as a safe space to express my concerns about the world. But I'm an artist first and foremost and a lot of my commentary on the world is visual.

How can we ever get anywhere if all we do is attack each other or avoid the most important things affecting our lives because we can't remain civil?
This is so on point. Most Liberals want true change, not platitudes about the same old same old.
There have been a lot of times where I feel like we need to have honest discussions on the left about what has worked and what hasn’t, share observations without judgement, but it feels like there isn’t much space for it. I think it’s holding us back.

I wonder how and where we can accomplish that.

The Tariff Act of 1930 was designed for protectionist trade. It imposed high tariffs on over 20,000 imported goods which led to retaliatory tariffs from other countries.

Why am I telling you this?

In case you're ever asked "what were the key contributors to the Great Depression?"

To grab the limelight, Nancy Mace has targeted Sarah McBride, the nation’s first elected trans House member. The vitriol from Mace has been contemptible.

This is in sharp contrast with McBride, who has acted commendably and with grace. And ironically, McBride now has high national visibility.
