Views of Trump’s opposition, though, look very different today than they did eight years ago. In the run-up to the 2018 midterms, Democrats fared consistently — and significantly — better than the Republicans on party image. This time around, it’s a different story.

The government is shut down because Trump and the Republicans are hellbent on taking health care away from you.

And they won’t even come to the table to talk to us about it.

This is not about politics. It's about people.

Let’s break it down:

The law protecting furloughed federal workers is clear. Basically the admin. is focusing on preventing availability of medical care for Americans because that discussion precludes focus on the Epstein files. Americans will suffer, while the pedophile is well cared for & doesn't care. #ProudBlue

A new White House memo says that furloughed federal workers aren't entitled to back pay.

This is clearly against the law, which guarantees furloughed federal employees back pay for the duration of a government shutdown.

There was a proposal in Harris's platform to limit or bar entirely the cornering of residential housing market by investors or corporations, but nobody with the campaign seemed too interested in promoting it. When I volunteered and made calls, voters were often happily surprised to hear it.
